Job Description: Responding to and managing the ‘INFO@SIRO’ email account. The INFO@SIRO email account is one of two major communications channels with customers and public. It receives approximately 200 emails a month from general queries to complex complaints.
  • Responding to all Info queries and complaints, escalating where necessary.
  • Liaising with SIRO teams internally to secure relevant information to respond to queries and complaints.
  • On-going monitoring of the activities of this account and
  • Production monthly and quarterly reports on consumer engagement with Info.
In addition, as a member of the Corporate Affairs Team, you may be required to support the wider work of the Team including:
  • Supporting event organisation.
  • Developing social, press and stakeholder communications – graphics, content, briefings etc.
  • Engaging with key SIRO stakeholders.

We are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Engineer to work closely with the quantity surveyors in all phases of the project, including tender documentation, cost management, contractor performance assessment and procurement. Reporting to the Commercial Manager this role is a great opportunity to develop your career within an exciting and dynamic company. Key Responsibilities
  • Liaison with on-site SIRO supervisors/agents and commercial team.
  • Understanding project requirements and completing all duties assigned by their Manager.
  • Shadowing senior staff members, asking questions, and assisting wherever possible.
  • Raising concerns and making suggestions for improvement where appropriate.
  • Traveling to sites, monitoring site works and carrying out site measures.
  • Observing and adhering to health & safety regulations at all times.
  • Review the electrical network planned upgrades.
  • Participating in meetings and attending workshops and other training initiatives.
  • Checking contractor designs, analysing data and reporting on findings accordingly to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Revise and assess commercial statements.
  • Maintaining a high degree of professionalism and diligence, whilst developing and maintaining professional relationships with all staff members.
  • Assist in the day-to-day administrative duties as applicable.

  • 3rd level qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management.
  • Minimum two years experience.
  • A valid Irish driver’s license required.

Reporting to our Town Completion Manager, within the Infrastructure department this apprenticeship is a great opportunity to start or develop your career within an exciting and dynamic company in the Telecoms industry. Apprenticeship training provides alternating on-the-job training in conjunction with off-the-job training. The position is a two-year fixed term full time apprenticeship contract, including the off-the-job release to attend the off-the-job sessions at TU Dublin to complete a Higher Certificate in Engineering in Telecommunications and Data Network Engineering. Over the lifetime of the apprenticeship a total of eight blocks, each of two weeks duration, will be spent attending class and practical laboratories at TU Dublin. Requirements:
  • Applicant must hold a Leaving Certificate with a minimum of Grade O6/H7 or better in 5 subjects in the Leaving Certificate including English or Irish and Mathematics. A Pass in Foundation Level Irish (F3) is acceptable for this course.
  • Alternatively, an applicant can hold a level of qualification which is deemed equivalent to the requirements in the Leaving Certificate.
  • Full Irish driving licence
  • Applicant must complete a colour vision test
