Yes, SIRO’s network is compliant with all relevant building requirements. We provide an open access enabled network, available for all operators to use. This ensures that additional networks are not required.
ESB is our parent company. However, SIRO is a fully commercial entity, independent from ESB. While we roll out our fibre network the ESB electricity network, we have no responsibility for the ESB connection to your New Development.
SIRO’s objective is to bring our full fibre broadband to every new development. We work with hundreds of developers across Ireland – big and small, private and social and affordable.
These include developers such as Glenveagh, Homeland Group, Quintain, Park, O’Flynn Group, the Land Development Agency, housing bodies and local authorities.
SIRO is available in all cities and large towns across the country – over 135 towns and cities in every county in Ireland.
We currently have 200,000 active customers
Our full fibre network is built to last for the next 50 years. Once we complete our build on a new development, we continue to maintain and upgrade that network as required.
