Leixlip & Kingscourt Can Do Life Different with SIRO
This month, we’re welcoming two new towns to the SIRO network! Residents in Leixlip, Co. Kildare and Kingscourt, Co. Cavan can avail of our 100% fibre broadband.
Kingscourt is the second Cavan town to join the SIRO network. Upon completion, approximately 1,100 premises will be seamlessly integrated into SIRO’s fibre-optic network, marking a significant milestone in ensuring that Kingscourt’s homes have access to the highest standard of broadband connectivity.
Leixlip joins twelve other towns in Kildare who are SIRO 100% fibre enabled. SIRO has been rolling out its network across Ireland and County Kildare since 2016. Over that period SIRO’s total investment in County Kildare has reached €40 million, with 40,000 premises or 110,000 people who can now access its network.
The roll-out of SIRO’s full fibre broadband network in these towns is part of SIRO’s ongoing network expansion, targeting more than 700,000 premises in over 150 towns and cities across Ireland by 2026.
