Kicking Off 2026: Ashford Becomes SIRO’s First Town of the New Year
SIRO is pleased to share that our 100% fibre broadband network will go live for homes and businesses in Ashford, Co. Wicklow by the end of this month.
As part of this rollout phase, 500 premises will gain access to SIRO’s fast, reliable and future‑proof fibre broadband. Areas going live include Ashford Down, Meadow View, The Avenue, The Birches, The Glen, Rosana Close, Milltown Lane, Ballinahinch Park and surrounding neighbourhoods.
This expansion forms part of SIRO’s ongoing investment in County Wicklow, where our fibre network now passes 27,800 premises, supporting almost 80,000 people. SIRO is already live in towns such as Arklow, Blessington, Bray, Greystones, Kilcoole and Wicklow town.
SIRO’s 100% fibre broadband delivers the speed and stability needed for remote working, online learning, streaming and smart home use. As a wholesale network, customers can choose from several broadband providers offering services over SIRO, including Vodafone, Sky, Virgin Media, Digiweb, Pure Telecom and Blacknight.
