Property Manager

We have an opening for a Property Manager to oversee planning, delivery, and readiness for customer connections.

Role description:

  • Responsible for the engagement strategy in all aspects of build engagement with a specific focus on new developments – these include developers, local authorities, LDA and Housing Authorities, other infrastructure entities (e.g., Irish Rail, IDA), Developers Agents (e.g. Mech & Elec Contractors, Designers, Consultants).
  • Working with internal and external resources manage access to ESB infrastructure, wayleaves, consenting and relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Identify and develop new development leads through a documented engagement strategy (inputting into this strategy as it evolves, and intelligence builds).
  • Working on a list of sites which are outside of SIRO’s direct build programme and evaluating each locations’ viability by gathering inputs of stakeholders including ESB and third-party Metro providers.
  • This role will require site visits to developers countrywide, to learn and understand their business and how SIRO interacts with the practical considerations on their sites.
  • Liaise daily with new development team to ensure that the stages of delivery of each site is on track.
  • Drive CIF engagement and other relevant industry groups, become a trusted voice for broadband and connectivity in the developer community.
  • Identify other avenues for SIRO’s message into the market (e.g. Ideal Homes Exhibition, Smart Homes, etc.).
  • Leverage the relationship with ESB Networks in relation to new developments and shared infrastructure opportunities.
  • Develop and execute an engagement plan for each of the key stakeholders.
  • Responsible for delivery of new developments into the SIRO pipeline.
  • Overseeing engagement plan for dealing with all stakeholders including ESBN, developers, housing authorities, councils, CIF, local chambers, and retailers.
  • Negotiate Lease agreements with landlords and liaise with internal and external legal teams.
  • Assist with negotiations on duct access agreements with new providers.

Key Skills Required:

  • +3 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Good knowledge of the telecommunications market, carriers, service providers
  • Strong understanding of fibre optic technologies including DWDM, PON/GPON, FTTH, etc.
  • Proficiency with planning and design tools such as AutoCAD, G-Technology Fibre Optic Works, Geomedia, ArcGIS etc.
  • Experience of fibre networks (ODFs, Patching, Cleaning, etc.) is desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Education Qualifications: 3rd level qualification in Telecommunication/Physics/Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Clean Drivers licence.
