Account Manager

SIRO is a joint venture company, established in 2015 by ESB and Vodafone that aims to connect 450,000 premises across regional Ireland with 100% fibre-to-the-building (FTTP) broadband with speeds of up to 1000Mbps, future proofing homes and businesses connectivity by delivering the highest possible quality service and speeds.

We currently have a vacancy for an Account Manager within SIRO’s Commercial team, reporting to Chief Commercial Officer.

Objectives

  • To manage and develop a Tier 1 Strategic Account, to meet and exceed sales targets, whilst ensuring growth, industry leading NPS across all account segments and interactions.
  • The successful candidate will continue to develop deep and wide relationships at director level to support the delivery of revenue / profitability targets.
  • Deliver “best-in-class” customer support across each segment within the Strategic account.
  • Understand the strategic business drivers and direction of the Strategic account to support their future growth ambitions.
  • Identify and develop large scale strategic opportunities within the account.
  • Develop a strategic sales plan for the residential and business segments of the Strategic account that supports the achievements of all revenue targets for both parties.
  • Develop and execute an engagement plan for each of the key revenue generating segments within the Strategic account, including residential, business and technology segments.

Key responsibilities

Sales

  • To drive sales performance in partnership with each segment lead within the Strategic account to achieve SIRO business targets.
  • To effectively manage customer relationships in line with the agreed contact plan.
  • To understand the key business drivers and align our products, marketing, and data analytics to support the account to achieve their business targets.

Cross Functional

  • To develop and implement strategic account development plans in conjunction with other virtual teams; specifically product, marketing, service delivery and data analytics.
  • Collaborate and engage with internal teams regularly to ensure that the account objectives are being met and exceeded.
  • Provide support as required to the Chief Commercial Officer and internal heads of function.
  • To maintain robust governance with members of the virtual team. (Commercial, Service Delivery, Finance, Network technology and Corporate Affairs)

Other Skills

  • Should have 5+ years sales Senior Strategic Account management experience in Telecoms or similar
  • A proven track record in overachieving on sales targets
  • Experience in developing new and existing revenue streams within a large customer account
  • Pro-active with excellent communication skills
  • Strong relationship building skills with the capability of working cross functionally
